Chuck has been helping clients overcome and plan for their financial future since 1998. Great Lakes Tax Team was created as a direct result from Chuck working with individuals and small business clients in the West-Michigan, East-Michigan, and the lower peninsula. His vision for a company with national experience, based locally, offers clients the best solutions for their unique situations at a level that’s deeper than just tax preparation; through proactive planning, Chuck helps clients generate a long term vision for their financial future, and assuring that client’s needs are met not just ‘this tax year’ but every, tax year.
Born in Michigan, Chuck calls Grand Rapids his home, where he spends his free time working to serve the community by sharing his professional experiences in meaningful ways including: Habitat for Humanity of Kent County board of Directors; President of the Finance Council at his Church, St. Thomas the Apostle; and even a trip to South Africa to support a Jimmy Carter build for Habitat for Humanity’s International Build project.
Keagan has been helping his client’s plan and manage their financial future since 2008; his experience has given him the benefit of helping clients in what has arguably been the best of times and the worst of times. Obtaining an MBA in Finance, Keagan works with many small business owners and managers, as well as individuals, couples and families, to help plan the best tax outcomes for their needs. He specializes in planning for future outcomes, instead of taking a passive ‘rear view mirror’ approach to finances, benefits, accounting and estate planning.
He calls Grand Rapids his home, having been born in Michigan. In his spare time, he has worked to better his community through volunteer actions that share his unique skills, including: President for the Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals of Kent County; President of the Society of Finance Service Professionals in Western MI; Trustee for the Finance Council of St. Dominic Church in Wyoming and a founding trustee of the Knights of Columbus Council at Aquinas College.
